Poppy Hills Country Club @ Pebblebeach, CA
Set within the Del Monte Forest of Pebble Beach, the nationally recognized Poppy Hills Country Club required an interior environment that reflects both its natural setting and its role as a premier golf destination. The design balances comfort and sophistication, with carefully considered materials and layouts that enhance both daily use and member experience.
HOME by Morgan Design Group
Completed in 2012, a retail showroom for the interior design studio was established on the high street of Menlo Park, California, as a refined extension of the firm’s design vision. The space featured an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary furnishings, complemented by globally sourced accessories and antiques from Europe and Asia. Conceived as an immersive, walk-through portfolio, it offered clients a direct experience of the firm’s interiors—demonstrating its range, craftsmanship, and ability to create cohesive, elevated environments while serving as both a retail destination and brand showcase.
Mercedes Benz of Rocklin
Completed in 2009, Mercedes-Benz of Rocklin includes a $22 million, 62,500-square-foot showroom developed under the Mercedes-Benz standards program, along with a 9,000-square-foot service facility. Interior design for all non-standard areas—including customer, operational, and private office environments—was developed to align with the overall brand. The project also included collaboration with Bistro 33 on a showroom restaurant concept, as well as involvement in finish selection and on-site coordination to ensure accurate execution of brand standards.
Mercedes Benz of El Dorado Hills
The 45,000-square-foot Mercedes-Benz of El Dorado Hills is designed to reflect a hospitality-driven approach to automotive retail. Interiors were developed to align with the client’s vision for a refined environment, while complementing the Spanish-influenced architectural character established by the project team within the developments strict style guidelines.
Corporate Office / Residence for Traveling VIPs
A dual-purpose residential environment designed for traveling executives, combining private living spaces with fully functional areas for business use.
Half Moon Bay Golf Links at the Ritz Carlton
Located along the California coastline at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay Golf Links, this project reflects a refined approach to resort hospitality. The interior design is shaped by its coastal setting, with materials, layout, and detailing that support both the golf experience and the broader resort environment.

Kaanapali in Hawaii
This Kaʻanapali residence in Maui was developed over a multi-year period, with comprehensive involvement across all phases of design and construction. The project included full responsibility for layout, material and finish selection, and coordination of interior and exterior elements. The design approach emphasized the use of authentic Hawaiian materials and craftsmanship, incorporating unique and historically significant pieces to create a highly individualized environment.
Half Moon Bay
Developed in close collaboration with the clients, this coastal residence reflects a clear and shared vision, with the design team entrusted to interpret and execute the project with a high degree of creative autonomy. The resulting interiors evoke the comfort and refinement of a luxury hospitality environment, creating a distinct sense of arrival within a private residence.
Carmichael River
This riverside residence was developed over a three-year period as a complete ground-up replacement, with full involvement across all phases of design and construction. The project encompassed all aspects of the home, including spatial planning, material and finish selection, and detailed coordination of architectural elements. In addition, the role extended into active project management, overseeing subcontractors, procurement, and installation to ensure a cohesive and carefully executed result.
Rancho Santa Fe
Following the departure of the original architect, MDG was engaged to develop this Southern California residence from just a limited initial concept sketch on a napkin. Working closely with the clients, the design process established the home’s layout, architectural character, and interior direction in coordination with the project team, resulting in a cohesive and carefully executed outcome.
Kaiser Estate Tahoe
Located on the historic Kaiser Estate at Lake Tahoe—where the original residence was featured in The Godfather Part II—this project represents a contemporary addition within a significant setting. Developed through a long-standing client relationship, the residence was designed with a high degree of creative autonomy, resulting in a refined contemporary mountain environment tailored to the client’s lifestyle.
Alaeloa in Hawaii
Set along the beach in Alaeloa, Hawaii, this residence was developed as a full remodel, including raising the roofline to expand views of the ocean. The interiors were designed as a fully custom environment, with all cabinetry and carved elements developed by Morgan Design Group and executed by local artisans using regionally sourced materials.
